graduation

June 3, 2011

Maddy graduated from high school last night. Maddy is awesome. But that’s all I’m going to say cuz I don’t want her to get a big head.

It all happened at the Marriott Center at BYU. It’s a big place. It’s where they keep something called a “Jimmer.”

But really, even though Maddy is awesome, the best part of the night, maybe the second best, was the family that left their Grandma to guard this prime parking space:

We hung out in this area for about 15 minutes. She was there guarding the spot when we got there, and was still there guarding when we moved on. I was soooo hoping she would still be there when we came out two hours later. But she wasn’t. But we got to see her fight off several giant SUVs, driving them off with her cane. Ninja Grandma.

You can’t buy this kind of entertainment. Thanks for coming through on a Friday afternoon!

She is so beautiful. She looks like her mom.

A big head and grandma? Your oldest graduates from high school and that’s all we get? It’s ok to show your tender side!

What…you dont have the balls to nudge an old lady out of the way with the bumper of your car?

I see you took the photos of Maddy before you told her tuition was her responsibility. Hahahaha. Welcome to the world, kid.

I don’t think Maddy’s head is that big! It’s quite cute. Can you see Mom out there guarding a spot!

    Me neither.

I don’t believe that’s Maddy in those photos at all. It’s quite clear that it’s the exact same facial image used in both photos, at the both same angle. We’re supposed to believe they’re different because you flipped the horizontal axis for the second photo.

Also, I can’t believe you let her wear “Peace” symbol earrings. Maybe that kind of thing flies in liberal big city places like Minnesota, but we don’t go in for that hippy crap here.
