in the tube

March 5, 2012

The last few weeks have been good for the sledding. This is a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Also, I think I have third degree burns on my face. I’ve gone through an entire jar of aloe. It’s possible my face could power my car.

One of the better tubing tracks I have ever seen. Looks like you all really enjoyed it. Love the slow speed crash.

    Good livin’.

Likes: slo-mo crashes, DCwL handup, evolution of the course.

Worst sunburn I ever had was from Spring skiing at Grand Targee with no sunscreen. I had huge blisters all over my face and I peeled twice. And I worked at a clean-room semiconductor fab at the time – I’m sure I ruined untold chips with skin bits.

Great video. I like how interested and tentative the little boy is near the end, but then… he comes back for another round.

Dueling chutes are spot on. Congrats on the victory o’er the son.

All this and no alcohol in play, just DC w/Lime. Who knew, eh? There has been a grand total of about 6″ of snow in the mid-Atlantic this year. I miss it.

so much fun! As one of the folks above commented, you deserve best day of the year award.
I grew up in MI and my Dad used to build an ice rink in our backyard (using plastic bags and 2*4 frame). Lots of work went into it but gave us day after day after day of fun. So glad you all finally got some snow
