have a what?
June 7, 2012
Sure, I’d heard the word “Havasupai” and I’d made the usual jokes–“have some soup, aye.” “It’s a Grand Canyon franchise of Zuppas.” And “that sounds like some really bad pie.”
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Turns out Havasupai is the perfect family vacation.
Although, I now have 7 band-aids on my feet, six thousand bug bites all over my body, I have cankles like a pregnant woman retaining water, and I walk funny.
Good times.

I lived for a while in AZ in in the late ’80’s. I’d always read about the Havasupai, occasionally seeing a photo of the mysterious waters at the western lands of the Grand Canyon. It was pretty exclusive (by reservation only) to visit there back in the day. Very cool stuff; thanks for sharing.

Vacation dug looks happy.
Is that the most you’ve paid for a diet coke?
Ballsy backflips.
Hold it, hold it. Is this a kissing video?
Did I just see the family Christmas card photo?
Big packs going down, no packs going up: horses hauled them up?
My daughter has been to Havasupai, I have not. This is wrong.

kris, turns out the dc was not outrageous. nothing like one pays in europe, for example. maybe $1.50?

do it mike. it’s awesome. and not so hard to put together. and if you’re kids are whimps, have a horse haul their packs in and out. but i have a hard time believing your kids are whimps.
