a day so nice, i posted twice

I wielded the Flip video cam on yesterday’s Little Cottonwood tour, and while it’s very handy and creates fun little videos, it’s not what you’d call High Def. What? It IS an HD Flip? Hmm, you keep using that word, I don’t think it means what you think it means.
Luckily Rob was along and brought his awesome camera.
And so, I give you, Rob’s pics. There are a lot of them, but I couldn’t pick any to leave out. It was that nice of a morning.
Getting ready to drop Holy Toledo:
Rick, dropping into Holy Toledo:
Rick and Ben racing up to the East Cardiff ridge:
The view of Cardiac along the way:
Rick (and Ben, unless it’s a stylish mountain goat behind the tree) somewhere on the Little Superior ridge:
Me and Ian, definitely NOT racing up the ridge:
Rick, about the drop the easterly aspect of Little Superior:
Wanna see his face? I wanna see his face:
Okay, you can see the lower half of his face.
Ben adjusting his super secret prototype BD boots:
Some actual skiing pics. It’s hard to get pictures of Ben skiing, he disappears quickly:
Ian, living the dream:
Me, also mildly enjoying myself:
Me, exiting the Little Superior chute:
Ben going so fast he stays on top:
In all, a day that didn’t suck.
